As Everlight has released, 5 new UV LEDs ranging from 365 to 400 nm were introduced at the Lightfair 2016 in Sand Diego. The  UV  LED  market  is  expected  to  grow  rapidly  in  2016,  due  to  several upcoming applications:

• Printing technology
• Paint and cosmetic curing
• Medical treatments
• Domestic disinfection
• Photocatalytic air and water purifiers
• Counterfeit checking

Everlight is convinced that its new series with multiple wavelengths offers and different beam angles will satisfy all customer demands for a wide range of UV LED applications.


Everlight’s 5 new UV LEDs are all based on a special UV ceramic substrate for advanced heat dissipation. Three high power LEDs (1.8W) come with beam angles of 120, 50 and 30 degrees whilst the feature of the two low power LEDs (0.8W) is a very uniform light pattern.
