German inspection company Dekra has announced that it now offers certification of LED lighting according to ENEC standards in the Chinese cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Laboratories in both cites received the ENEC-accreditation for the product category LITE (Lighing Products). 
 

The ENEC test mark confirms the compliance of products with European safety standards. Dekra, Germany’s biggest inspection company and the third biggest inspection company worldwide, is one of the first certification laboratories in China to receive ENEC.

 

ENEC is a test mark which confirms the compatibility of products with European safety standards through independent laboratories and inspection companies and therefore complements the CE mark. Following Dekra’s move, Chinese producers are now able to get ENEC certifications on site which will enable them to export products to the European Union in an easier and faster way. ENEC-certification do not only enable exporters to approach the European Union, but EFTA-countries and East European countries as well. The product category LITE encompasses lamps, lighting components, LED-lighting, LED-drivers and lighting control gear. 

 

Additionally to ENEC, Dekra also offers certification according to the standards of CE, CB, EMC, GS, MET and additional certification in both laboratories.
