In our last article we showcased some major future trends regarding LED lighting. In this concluding article, some more key innovations are being introduced.
 
In the age of green technology, the development of biodegradable
LEDs is supposed to furthermore  enable Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology, which uses light waves to transmit data, potentially offering faster internet speeds and new applications in smart cities and connected devices.


Another mjaor factor is the integration of LEDs  into the Internet of Things has  (IoT). This type of technology interchange allows  data collection and analysis to optimize energy usage and maintenance, ultimately leading to smarter building management systems.
 
New advancements related to color-tunable LEDs will allow users to adjust color settings to enhance ambiance, improve focus, or reduce eye strain in various environments. This will also allow further advance in the area of Human Centric Lighting (HCL).
 
With LEDs already now reaching very extended lifespans, further durability and longevity has to be expected. Future LEDs will be designed to last even longer and withstand harsher conditions, making them suitable for a broader range of applications, including outdoor and industrial settings.
